On Monday, June 26th, Summer Reading 2023 launches with “All Together Now” as the theme at Trenton Free Public Library with fun programs and activities for all ages. (June 26-August 19)
Designed for kids who are not yet reading.
Stop by the library to pick up an Activity Sheet – Children’s Room staff will register Children, and an Activity Sheet and a calendar of events will be given.
How Do I Play?
Paper Activity Sheets– Activity Sheets are available at the library. Keep track of the minutes read and activities completed by filling in the bubbles. Once a week bring your Activity sheet to the library to claim your prize!
What kind of books count?
Any kind you want to listen to!! We think Picture Books are awesome and we think you will too!
Who can read to me?
Whoever you want to ask! Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, your teacher, even your brothers or sisters! You can also ask your aunts, uncles, cousins, or your favorite neighbor!
Where can I find books to read?
You can read books you have at home or at school. You can borrow books from a friend. You can also stop by the library and borrow books from us. We have a great collection of books we think you’ll enjoy! Visit our Shelf Help page if you need some help picking out books.

Stop by the library for registration – Young Adult or Children’s Room staff will register Young Adults, and a reading log and a calendar of events will be given.
How Do I Play?
Paper Reading Logs– Reading logs are available at the library. Keep track of what you read by writing how many pages you read on your reading log. Once you reach a goal, bring it to the library to claim your prize.

Who can participate?
Adults (18+) with a valid Trenton Free Public Library card are invited to participate in the Summer Reading.
How does it work?
Read 2 books and receive a ticket to be entered into a grand prize drawing. Participants who read 4 books, will receive 2 tickets to be entered into the grand prize drawing. Those who read 6 or more books, will receive 3 tickets to be entered into the grand prize drawing. Submit your reading challenges by August 19. Three winners will receive a $100 gift card (Grand Prize).
Participants who read 1 book will be entered into the Mini prize drawing for 1 of the 20 canvas library bags.
Prizes
