How Do I Play?
Pick a row on the Bingo Card. Follow the directions on the boxes in that row, then cover them with a sticker when you’re done.
Complete at least 5 boxes in a row to get a prize.
Prizes will be awarded for every row completed. Try to fill up your Reading Bingo Card!
When you’re ready, return your bingo card to the Trenton Free Public Library to get a prize. We’d also like to hear all about the great books you read!
At the end of the challenge, the student who has completed the most boxes will earn a Top Reader Award.
What Kind of Books Count?
Any kind you want to read! Fiction or Non-Fiction Chapter Books, Picture Books, Easy Readers, Graphic Novels, Comic Books, Manga, Audiobooks, Chapter Books & Magazines. Really! Any Kind!
Where can I find books to read?
You can read any books you have at home or at school. You can borrow books from a friend. You can also stop by the library and borrow a book from us. We have a great collection of books we think you’ll enjoy! Visit our Shelf Help page if you need some help picking out books.
- Continue reading throughout the summer to be eligible to win a Top Reader Grand Prize which will be given to the reader who completed the most Bingo Boxes.
- Top Reader Winners will be notified by August 27.
- We also have Summer Reading for Adults. Ask a librarian for more information.
- Take Home Craft Bags will be available every week at the library. Come by for a different craft every week, while supplies last.
