From all of us at the Trenton Free Public Library, we wish you a happy and healthy New Year! Thank you for being such an important part of our Trenton community. We sincerely appreciate every patron who participates in our programs, attends our meetings, visits the library, and shares their thoughts with us about the needs of this community. Your engagement and support help us grow and serve you better every day.

2025 was a year of refinement for the library. We made thoughtful updates, reorganized spaces, and adjusted programming to create a more enjoyable and welcoming experience for all patrons. While challenges arose along the way, we are grateful for the patience, understanding, and continued commitment the community has shown.
Looking ahead, we envision 2026 as a year of celebration. As Trenton Free Public Library joins in commemorating the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, we invite you to participate in a year filled with programs, events, exhibits, and screenings at the Library.
We are excited to bring you new programs, resources and improved communication through updated brochures, a magazine and more.
We’re also gearing up for a vibrant Summer Reading season, along with ongoing improvements designed to make your visits more welcoming, accessible, and engaging. Whether you’re stopping in for a program, a great book, or simply a place to explore ideas, we’re excited to share this year with you.
Here’s to a year of discovery, celebration, and community—welcome to the new year at your library.
