The Friends of the Trenton Public Library contribute to the library’s advancement of public programming such as literacy, diversity, local history, youth services, and community outreach programs through fundraising activities. The Library Friends also assist through subsidizing rooms in making the library a friendly and safe place to enjoy reading and activities. Some events in the past have included lectures, author talks, book giveaways, pop-up public book sales, and a presence at many events and festivals throughout the year in the City of Trenton.
