Young Adult Information Session for Mayor's Summer Youth Employment Program (ages 16-21)

Young Adults, ages 16-21, are you looking for a Summer Job opportunity that will provide you with job readiness training? Join the Youth Services Team and a representative from the program in the computer lab for an informative workshop regarding the Mayor’s Summer Youth Employment Program to find out more! Have a resume prepared? Bring a flash drive or access the saved document from your email to apply during the workshop. Not sure how to write a resume? Drop in to our session for resume writing tips as well. Parents and caregivers are welcome to attend with their child for more information.

By enrolling in the Mayor’s Summer Youth Employment Program, you receive:

  • A summer job placement at a local nonprofit or business in the culinary, arts, education, business, legal, or nonprofit fields.

  • A stipend for your work

  • Job readiness training from Rider University

  • Clothing voucher for workplace attire

Please note, youth must also complete a free one day job readiness training to be in the program.  Additionally, to complete your application, you will need to upload your resume.  An example template has been provided.
