Friends of the Trenton Public Library
Are you a lover of books, education, and information? Does it move you to help out a community who has many needs? The Friends of Trenton Public Library contributes to the library’s advancement of public programming such as literacy, diversity, local history, children and youth services, and community outreach programs through fundraising activities. It also assists through subsidizing rooms in making the library a friendly and safe place to enjoy reading and activities. Some events in the past have included lectures, author talks, book give-aways, pop-up public book sales, and a presence at the African American Cultural Festival.

The Friends are constantly looking for new members to support programs that appeal to the community and the greater Trenton area. Whether you are new to the area, work or learn in Trenton, or have been a Trenton resident for many years, we can use your assistance. If you can commit to helping with various fundraising projects or have a love for the library and advancing our community, please consider supporting the Friends through a fully tax deductible donation. Print out a membership form and mail it along with your check made payable to Friends of the Trenton Public Library to the Trenton Free Public Library, attn: Friends Group, 120 Academy Street, Trenton, N.J. 08608.
