BORDEN PERLMAN DONATION WILL HELP SUMMER READING PROGRAM

The Friends of the Trenton Public Library is pleased to announce the receipt of a very generous donation from Doug Borden of the insurance company, Borden Perlman.  Mr. Borden explained that this donation was in memory of his father, Jack Borden, who loved the Trenton Public Libraries and volunteered many hours reading to children at the Cadwalader Branch on Hermitage Avenue.

This donation will allow the library to invite the “Reading Fairy” to all 5 branches of the Library during the week of August  3-7 to present her program “Rock, Read & Eat”.  This performance will mark the end of the library’s Summer Reading Program.

    Thank you, Mr. Borden.

For further information about the Friends or to make a donation, please call Susan at 609-695-7048, ext. 24.
